The Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Dinner brings the campus and community together to honor Dr. King’s legacy through reflection and inspiring speakers.
The Founding Celebration
Mid-February
Illinois State University marks its founding each February with a symbolic Old Main bell-ringing ceremony and awards ceremony celebrating the university’s heritage and community.
Years of Service Employee Recognition Program
This initiative commemorates the milestones of faculty and staff who have dedicated five or more years to ISU, recognizing individuals at each five-year milestone of service to the University.
